Nursery
Our goal is to provide a warm, caring environment for babies and toddlers. This enables parents to be able to enjoy the service without needing to leave to tend to their little ones. We believe that even at this young age, seeds can be planted in their hearts, and our goal is to demonstrate Jesus' love to them.
Nursery Leadership Team
Michelle Klassen is the nusery co-ordinator. We have a large team of volunteers, consisting of about 15 adults and young people. Each Sunday there are two volunteers schedule, with another volunteer who is on-call. The nursery co-ordinators are also available to help, so there are plenty of people available to care for all of the little ones.
How Does The Nursery Work?
Our ministry is for newborns up to two years old. The nursery is open every Sunday from 11:00 am until the end of the service.
We have pagers available which we give to parent when they drop off their children so that we are able to reach you if you are needed.
There are four sleeping rooms complete with playpens so that your child can have a nap as well as monitors available for you to bring into the service. There is also one nursing room and as one changing room which are available for a little privacy when needed.
How Do I Get Involved In The Nursery?
We welcome you to come visit our nursery on Sunday morning and chat with us about how we can make your child feel comfortable in the nursery. We have information sheets available for you to fill out so that we, as volunteers, can best meet their needs.
